Encore Keep Your Day Job
- Soundforge 6.0 used for fades, tape flip splices, and cleanup cuts and crowd
transitions mostly between songs.
- The mic was blocking Healy's view, and they told us to move. We changed seats
during intermission, so the tape sounds a little better in the 2nd set.
- Brief cuts in Space at 1:12, 2:34, and 3:22.
- Thanks to Anne for transferring this.
These two shows were fantastic..Halloween gets all the ink and deservedly so but this is a solid show. Great aud. Halloween in '83 and '84 at Marin Civic and BCT were just amazing. I went in '85 as well in Columbia which was a blast but not the same ambiance, and even columbia was real small compared to the trash they had to play in after in the dark came out in '87. This period was the last peak of the Dead, up through Feb. '86 at the Kaiser and the Box at Hampton '86. Then it was stadiums, Dylan covers, nitrous, and idiot kids at shows. And tame shows and midi. I miss Winterland.

What a show
Took 8 hours in the pouring rain to get tickets & I did, my fiend gave up & hitched back to east bay,,,,I wasn't about to...it gone down to 20 of us or so, the rain had did alot of people in.
Got a ticket for 3rd row, fellow head and his girlfriend let me crash on their couch in Mill valley and then the guy gave me a ride all the way to Fremont for nothing...dead all lived in the area so we got to see them all driving up in their own cars..looking at us rain drenched fools, those were the days!!!!
